The Peasant Club hosts on November 14 and 15, between 10.00 and 18.00 h., the event “Cartea in Bucate – Arta Culinara din Literatura in Farfurie,” a fair with sale of cooking books, delicacies and cooking workshops, Fundatia Noi Citim reports. During the event there will be discussions about the significance of food and the importance of a healthy food, as well as unusual applications of food: sculptures or jewels made by hand from edible products. The fair is organized on the occasion of the festival Days of the European Book, which takes place simultaneously in several European capitals, the theme of this year being Gourmet Europe. Besides the permanent stands with books and with delicacies which await the visitors, Noi Citim proposes an interactive programme with discussions about the significance of food, the importance of healthy food, and also unusual utilizations of food: sculptures and jewels made by hand from edible products. Thus, the event will rally artists, writers and ethnologists, cuisine specialists, and also persons initiated in the secret of food in harmony with nature.
