Romanian gymnasts Ana Porgras and Flavius Koczi won the beam and vault contests respectively in the Stuttgart Gymnastics World Cup. Koczi scored 15.987 points and came ahead of Germany’s Matthias Fahrig and Jevgnis Sapronenko of Latvia in the general standings. World champion Marian Dragulescu ranked but 4th, on 14.925 points. Brazil’s Diego Hyplito came first, followed by Alexander Shatilov of Israel and Chile’s Sepulveda Gonzales.

Another Romanian gymnast, Marius Berbecar, finished eighth, on 15.275 points, according to the competition’s website.

Porgras won in the beam, on 14.625, ahead of Germany’s Maike Roll, who finished on 13.575, and Russian Ksenia Semenova, 13.525. Porgras was Romania’s only representative in this stage of the competition. She also participated in the uneven bar qualifiers, yet missed the final as she only ranked 10th.
