Italian-Romanian photo dialogue in Venice

The Romanian Cultural and Humanistic Research Institute in Venice is home November 17 though 30 of the photography exhibition ‘Sentimenti in dialogo’ (Sentiments in dialogue), by Rodica Flesariu Marinescu, a referent at the Research-Publishing Department of the Romanian Peasant Museum. The author presents viewers with an emotional, visual and aesthetic dialogue between cities and regions in Italy (Rome, Florence, Padua, Naples, Venice, Civitavecchia, Viterbo, Milan, Sienna) and Romania (Brasov, Bucharest, northern Moldavia, Bihor and Cluj-Napoca). Rodica Flesariu Marinescu earned her M.D. in Italian cultural studies and European intercultural issues at the University of Bucharest in 2005, with the dissertation ‘Pietro Cavallini, a painter of Duecento, between the Byzantine tradition, romantic art and the dawn of Renaissance.’
