Romania’s U-21 national football team won its friendly against Poland, score 2-1 (0-0). The game took place in Chiajna’s ‘Concordia’ stadium. Romania’s goals were scored by Liviu Ganea in the 51st minute and Gardos in the 88th minute, while the visitors’ goal was scored by Tyrala in the 71st minute. The game, attended by Ionut Lupescu, the general director of the FRF, represented the debut of the following players: Straton, Neagu, Mladen, Melinte, Achim, Grozav, C. Cristea and Gardos.
