Young man shot by border officer

A border police officer from Jamu Mare, Timis County, shot on Saturday night a young man in the leg. The incident took place during a control organized on Timisoara-Oravita road. The officers stopped a car in which there were a man and a woman and requested the driver to submit the documents. The man said that he did not have the driving license with him and then started running away towards the border with Serbia. The officers shot a warning fire, and since the young man did not stop, an officer shot him in the leg, but he is out of danger. A few months ago he had been involved in a road accident in which a woman died. The young man does not have driving license.
