Music and gifts in Cismigiu Park

On the occasion of the winter holidays the Bucharest City Hall will organize, through ArCuB, the eighth edition of the ‘I believe in Santa Claus!’ event. The alleyways of Cismigiu Park will be animated by fairytale characters in a setting conceived by scenographer Dragos Buhagiar, a setting meant to bring forth the winter holidays spirit. The first step towards a fairytale world will be taken right at the entrance of the park where the Christmas Tree will welcome both the little ones and their parents and will guide them towards Santa’s sleigh, the Nativity Manger and the House of Santa Claus, a special place where children will be able to feel the winter holidays atmosphere.

The Christmas Fair with its 35 special booths will remain open until December 24 and will have goodies and souvenirs specific for this time of year. The event will open on the evening of December 4 at 6.30 PM. The ‘Raise Choir’ American gospel group will give an extraordinary concert alongside Brad Vee Johnson & Paula Seling, accompanied by the Andrei Tudor Band.

Christmas Waits, theater bands, secular and religious choirs as well as numerous singers and bands will be present in Cismigiu Park in the weekends of December 5-6 and December 12-13, as well as every day from December 18 to December 23. Each morning at 11 AM the children will be able to enjoy an interactive program that includes theater, dance, music and magic shows. The Doremi dance group and the Comical Opera for Children will give fun-packed shows. Each evening starting at 6.30 PM the most important singers and bands of the day will take the stage, as well as folk groups and choirs that will interpret the most beautiful carols. The list includes Brad Vee Johnson, Monica Anghel, Paula Seling, Narcisa Suciu, Analia Selis, Nicola, Andra, El Negro, Directia 5, Vunk, VH2, Proconsul, Bere Gratis, Delia, Elena Gheorghe, Provincialii and Stefan Hrusca.
