Bucharest ring road to benefit from consultancy worth RON 2.66 M

The Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) will hold a bid for the consultancy in view of enlarging to four lanes a segment of the southern part of the Bucharest ring road, upon a contract worth an estimate RON 2.66 M, VAT excluded, Mediafax reports.

The contract is financed from the state budget and refers to consultancy services for supervising the design and construction works to the road segment between kilometers 43 and 55+520. The contract is scheduled to take 84 months, of which 24 months will be the proper execution of works (it can be modified as partial objectives are met) and 60 months as warranty for the road.

Offers will be opened on January 25, 2010 with the technical aspects accounting for 80 pc of the total score and the financial matters for the remaining 20 pc. Companies interested to attend the bid must submit a minimum guarantee of RON 50,000 and they should have had an average turnover of at least RON 4.3 M during the last three years.
