In the last 24 hours, 81 new cases of flu with pandemic A/H1N1 virus were confirmed, and two deaths of persons with associated diseases were registered, Health Ministry reported on Wednesday. Thus, the number of deaths rose to 27. The total cases confirmed in Romania until December 15 included is 4,885. Only 30,000 Romanians have accepted so far to be vaccinated against A/H1N1, the Health Ministry deciding to extend the vaccination to all the categories of population aged above 16. Those who refuse the immunization will be obliged to pay the treatment and possibly the hospitalization if they fall ill, State Secretary Adrian Streinu Cercel announced on Tuesday.
