Social-Democrat Adrian Nastase launched on Thursday, at Titulescu House, the volumes 6 and 7 of the work “Romania after Malta. 875 days at the Foreign Ministry.” Present at the event were the PSD honourary president Ion Iliescu, PSD Senator Titus Corlatean, who is also president of the Commission on foreign policy of Senate, and several diplomats.
Nastase said that the work presents the angles from which he regarded, and also built the reality of that period in which he held the office of foreign minister. The volumes cover the period July 1990-December 1991, and present the main aspects from his agenda – meetings, visits abroad, statements.
Iliescu pointed out that the volumes reveal a complicate period with problems both internally and abroad, being “an almost moral and daily chronicle of the activity of the foreign minister.”
