Ion Vasile to sue Udrea and Preda

The president of the PSD branch in Buzau County, Ion Vasile yesterday said he considers suing Elena Udrea in court, after she said that he had family relations with Omar Hayssam and that his daughter knew and accepted she would be kidnapped. Ion Vasile added he also thinks whether to sue Cezar Preda, who agreed to what the Development minister – Udrea – said and enforced the idea that Vasile befriended the Syrian who masterminded the abduction of the three Romanian journalists. “These allegations, turned into information, can become legal material for me, allowing me to sue them, and if they say they learned it from the media, then they are completely irresponsible and have no place in the Romanian Government. On one hand, Elena Udrea is a minister in the Romanian Government, and she swore on the Bible and the Constitution that she will uphold the interest of citizens. Then, how can she make such statements against a Romanian citizen?” Ion Vasile declared.

The PSD Senator also added he considers asking in Parliament the resignations of Elena Udrea – from her position of minister – and of Cezar Preda – from the position of president of the Parliament’s commission for control over the SRI.
