Yesterday, in Iasi, PSD leader Mircea Geoana was asked by a supporter why he had visit Sorin Ovidiu Vantu in the election campaign, and the Social-Democratic chief answered: ‘I was wrong to go’. The dialogue happened on the steps of the Teri Ierarhi Church in Iasi, after Geoana had participated in a religious service. On his way out of the church, Geoana was greeted by several retired supporters of PSD. On the steps of the church, Mircea Geoana was asked by a lady supporter: ‘Why did you go to see Vantu, Mr. Geoana?’ The PSD president answered: ‘I was wrong to go’/ PSD Deputy of Iasi Luminita Iordache intervened in the discussion, telling the elderly lady: ‘It’s all in the past. We need to start fresh now’.
