Haiti charity concert staged by City Hall

Well-known Romanian artists and bands, such as Proconsul, Directia 5, Bere Gratis and Loredana will perform in a charity concert called “Song for Haiti” at the Palace Hall today, according to the Bucharest City Hall. The event is organized by the City Hall and the General Municipal Council, through ArCub – the Cultural Project Centre. The event is also supported by the Culture Ministry, the UNESCO Elite Art Club Cultural Association and Realitatea TV.


“We invite all those who wish to support this humanitarian campaign to come and enjoy the extraordinary performance of these artists who dedicate their own creations to children left without families and homes,” organizers said, quoted by Agerpres news agency.


Tickets can be purchased online, on www.bilete.ro or at the Palace Hall for the following prices: RON 130, 110, 80 and 50. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF, which will allocate the funds to food, shelter and protection of Haiti children.
