Corlatean-Gittenstein meeting

The chairman of the Senate’s Foreign Policy Commission, Titus Corlatean met on Tuesday with the US Ambassador to Romania, Mark Henry Gittenstein, a topic on the agenda being the visa waiver for Romanian citizens. According to Senator Corlatean, the project of lifting visa obligation for Romanian tourists in the US is soon to turn into fact. Corlatean said during this summer or this fall at latest, he will go to the United States to hold talks “especially with those congressmen and senators who have a say in this issue.” Another topic of discussion was the US missile shield, he added.
