Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi will attend an informal meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers in Cordoba, Spain, today and tomorrow, an event traditionally organised by the current holder of the EU’s rotating presidency, the Foreign Ministry said. FMs’ informal meeting begins today with debates on EU policies regarding emerging global actors and will continue on the second day with discussions on the Middle East peace process, and on new EU foreign policy instruments, following the Lisbon Treaty, with an emphasis on the European External Action Service, the ministry also said.
Recent developments in Western Balkans will also be on the agenda of a working breakfast, where foreign ministers from EU candidate states are invited to participate.
