Shinheung Electronics to invest EUR 20 M in Oradea

Shinheung Electronics yesterday started work on the Eurobusienss Industrial Estate in Oradea by building a new facility, with actual production to take off in June, according to Mediafax. The Korean Samsung electronics supplier will invest EUR 20 M and will establish approximately 200 new jobs in its new project this year. “Korean company Shinheung Electronics started building the new production facility on the trading estate just a few days ago. The facility should be ready in June and production should start on July 1. I thank them for choosing Oradea to invest,” Oradea Mayor Ilie Bolojan said yesterday.


“A total of 11 companies have already signed agreements for the allocation of plots on the Eurobusienss Industrial Estate, with five agreements in the process of being sealed. The local investors to operate on the estate located in Borsului Street include: Congips, Perind, Simbac, Tamira Pan, Vest Euro Marketing, Rozoti Prod Com, Carbenta Com, Elisis, Ekboyo, Anander, Hexi Prod and Premium Part. Four foreign companies have shown an interest in operating in the new industrial area of the city: Shinheung, Decoletaje & Conjuntos, Auxim and Microrom.


A total of 21 hectares have already been allocated to tenants of the industrial park and the Oradea Municipality estimates RON 300,000 revenue from the new facilities this year.
