Eros Ramazzotti in Bucharest on July 10

Italian singer and songwriter Eros Ramazzotti will perform in Bucharest on July 10. The show, in the capital’s Iolanda Balas Soter Stadium, is part of the artist’s tour to promote his latest album, “Ali e Radici”, organizers Cramps Music Italia and InMusica Events Romania said.

Tickets for the show are available as of today in the Eventim network, in Germanos and Vodafone stores and Carturesti and Humanitas bookstores, but also online, on www.eventim.ro.

Ramazzotti’s “Ali e Radici – World Tour 2009-2010” began on October 21 last year in Rimini, Italy. The new album was released on May 22. Ramazzotti, who is one of the most popular artists in Italy is well known not only in most non English-speaking European countries but also in most of the Spanish-speaking world as he has released most of his albums in both Italian and Spanish. Since 1984, he has released 11 studio albums, one EP, two compilation albums, two live albums as well as 35 singles, all of which have charted noticeably high in many European countries as well as in South and Central America. Ramazzotti first gained international success in 1993, after the release of his “Tutte storie”, with which he managed to occupy the top five in every country wherein he had his previous albums released. He has sold over 40 million records in his 25-year career.

His most famous hits include songs such as “Se bastasse una canzone”, “Un’altra te” and “Terra promessa”. The Italian star has done duets with several prestigious artists such as Cher, Tina Turner, Andrea Bocelli, Patsy Kensit, Anastacia, Joe Cocker, Luciano Pavarotti, Laura Pausini, and Ricky Martin.
