Government moves to Iasi for two days

On Wednesday and Thursday the Government meeting will take place in Iasi, with the Ministers’ agenda also including visits in Moldavia. Prime Minister Emil Boc’s schedule will start with a meeting with local authorities this morning at the Iasi Prefecture, followed by talks with local decentralized services’ heads.


The Government meeting will start at 3 PM in ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ University’s ‘Mihai Eminescu’ hall. On the agenda, there will be a first-time discussion of the national education draft law. The draft will be put up for public debate and Government approval and will then enter Parliamentary approval procedure. Another draft law to be discussed today is the one provisioning tax exemption for young citizens who are looking to set up their own businesses.


On Thursday morning Prime Minister Emil Boc will be in Suceava. Later he will go to Gura Humorului where he has scheduled a visit to Doxar Grup wood processing company. Subsequently he will attend the inauguration of the Ungheni customs point.
