The mayor promised to advocate at the upcoming session of the Local Council the cancellation of the decision thereby the ground below the Aviation Museum building was transferred from the administration of the Ministry of National Defence to that of the ANL. The district 2 mayor insisted to make public that district 2 authorities, along with the Aviation Museum and relevant NGOs, seek to run a development programme aimed at increasing the number of paying visitors, from the current 3,000, the figure posted on the museum’s website, quite small compared to the over 100,000 visitors who visit Bucharest’s large museums.
