Cesaria Evora will return to Bucharest, in October

The organizers of Cesaria Evora’s Bucharest concert announced, on Tuesday, that she is fine after the surgery she underwent on Monday and she talked with her family and her tour manager. “Cesaria Evora underwent a surgical procedure on Monday, she is fine, she came round this morning, talked with her family and tour-manager. We are optimistic she will recover soon and will be able to perform in Romania,” Valentin Covalciuc, partner of the organizing company, Trilogy Media, stated, for AGERPRES. He added that he had discussed with Angelo Spencer, Cesaria Evora’ tour manager, and was told a precise time at which the Bucharest concert may be rescheduled. “We were told as a possible date to reschedule the concert a time between October 28 and 30. It will be, most likely, October 30, as it’s on a Saturday,” Covalciuc said. Organizers announced that the tickets that have been purchased so far for Cesaria Evora’s concert remain valid for the October show.

As far as those who are no longer able or willing to come to the concert in October, organizers announced that, in the near future, they will give a release detailing the procedure by which ticket-buyers may get their money back.
