Enel organizes fourth edition of “Play Energy” international competition

Enel launched the 2010 edition of the “Play Energy” contest in Romania, an educational initiative aimed at informing and raising the young generation’s awareness about the complex and exciting field of energy. According to a release remitted to our editorial office, approximately 400 schools and high schools in Bucharest, Banat and Dobrogea will take part in this year’s edition of the contest. “Enel wishes to encourage Romania’s development, not only by the company’s staple activity, but also in the educational, social and cultural sphere.

By the international scale of the project, Enel intended to bring together pupils from all countries in which it operates, motivating them to seek measures to be applied in various environments. This year’s involvement by pupils and teachers confirms the utility and efficiency of this initiative,” Paolo Chighine, External Relations Manager of Enel Romania.

Play Energy is a program developed by Enel at international level, from the European countries in which the utility company operates (Slovakia, Bulgaria, Italy, Russia, Romania) to countries in South America (Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Panama, Brazil) and the United States of America. The program is open, free of charge, to children throughout the world who, by means of energy, have an opportunity to expand their knowledge, to interact and communicate.
