Iron Maiden, heavyweights of heavy metal, to rock the heart of Transylvania

On August 15, legendary British band Iron Maiden will perform for the first time in the heart of Transylvania, at Cluj-Napoca, Emagic announces. The show will take place in the parking lot of the Polus Center mall, in an event presented by CFR Cluj and organised by Imagistica & Iconistica. “The last time we were in Romania, on the 2008 ‘Somewhere in Time’ tour, the audience welcomed us with unbelievable enthusiasm, it was a fantastic experience and we were very eager to come back for a new concert. We are so much more excited as it will take place in Transylvania, a site filled with history. In fact, we are sure our fans know, one of the songs on our first album bears this title and we are looking forward to finally perform it in Transylvania,” Steve Harris, drummer and founding member of the band, said. Iron Maiden will return this summer before the Romanian public on the word tour “The Final Frontier”.

Scooter concert postponed for September 26

Scooter postponed their concert due to take place on June 5 in Bucharest because of a shift in the tour programme. The show was rescheduled for September 26 and will take place at the Roman Arena, starting 20:00, a release from organisers announces. “This delay is owing to a shift in the tour programme. In mid-September, Scooter will resume their European tour to promote their latest album – “Under the Radar Over the Top” – and Bucharest is included in the tour list. Scooter members apologise for any inconvenience, but promise the September show will be up to fans’ expectations, as they have accustomed them,” Raluca Mihail, from organisers Blue Music, said.

Fans who purchased tickets for June 5 are asked to keep them, as they will remain valid for the September 26 concert. Those who will be unable to attend the concert on the new date may ask for reimbursement at the sale points where they bought the tickets, by June 26.
