Six players part ways with Steaua

Steaua’s new general manager, Victor Piturca, began the summer cleanup in Ghencea. Robinson Zapata, Cosmin Vatca, Emil Ninu, Alexandru Tudose, Eugen Baciu and Mihai Onicas will no longer be part of the Steaua team. The six players did not accompany the team in the training camp in Austria. The six players are to find new employment in the upcoming period, according to the Steaua website. Steaua went on training at Bad Gadstein, Austria, where they are training through July 2. The team will train on a pitch five kilometres away from the Europaischer Hof Hotel where the team are being lodged. Steaua will play two friendly matches, against Apoel Nicosia, June 27, 3:00 pm, and Viktoria Plzen, June 30, 6:00 pm
