Tourism brand- launched in Bucharest, at the end of this week

The Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism will launch, at the end of this week, Romania’s tourism brand, in Bucharest, rather than in Vatra Dornei, as initially scheduled, the minister of Tourism, Elena Udrea, announced, yesterday, in a TV programme. “Following research conducted in eight target countries, it emerged that Romania is competitive abroad in terms of wild nature,” Udrea said. The THR-TNS (Asesores en Turismo, Hoteleria y Recreacion & Co. and Taylor Neson Sofres & Co.) association are designing Romania’s tourism brand for EUR 894,970, funds allotted to Romania for this purpose by the European Union through the Regional Operational Program – Major Intervention Domain 5.3 “The promotion of potential for tourism and the building of infrastructure, to boost Romania’s appeal as a tourist destination”.
