The executive of the Romanian Post National Company, Dumitru Daniel Neagoe, was appointed president of the Board of Administration and general manager of the postal operator, Mediafax informs. The company’s shareholders, namely, the Ministry of Communications, which holds 75 per cent of shares, and the Proprietatea Fund (25 pc), appointed Neagoe, as of June 25, president of the BA. On the same occasion, the BA decided that Neagoe should also be granted the general managing position. The new president-general manager replaces Tudor Gabriel Bohalteanu, who resigned from all offices he held in the company. The Romanian Post is the largest operator in the sector and has a territorial network of approximately 7,100 postal offices.
