Mihai Bordeanu, in-coming marketing director for Dacia and Renault

On July 1, Mihai Bordeanu was appointed as marketing director for the Dacia and Renault brands, instead of Rafael Treguer, Mediafax reports. “I want one in two vehicles sold locally to carry the Dacia logo in the shortest time possible. It will take several years of work, when we try to improve the brand’s local reputation,” the new marketing director said yesterday. He went on to say that car prices would be re-calculated to include the VAT rate increase from 19 to 24 per cent as soon as possible. Prior to his new appointment, Bordeanu had been Lexus brand manager in the Balkan region.
