MEP Adriana Ticau, named EU Strategy for Black Sea rapporteur

Social-Democrat MEP Adriana Ticau has been appointed rapporteur of the Committee on industry, research and energy (ITRE) of the European Parliament on the initiative report “the EU strategy for the Black Sea,” Mediafax reports. Ticau, who was appointed to the post last week, will be in charge on ITRE’s stand on the report, the press bureau of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) delegation at the European Parliament informed. In the past legislature, 2007-2009, Ticau held a similar position on the EP report “Black Sea Synergy”.
