12th Russian spy arrested in US has worked for Romanian company

The man deported from the US on Tuesday on suspicion of being a member of the espionage network whose other members had been arrested a week before is believed to have worked for a Romania-based company for a while. According to Russian national Aleksei Karetnikov’s Facebook profile, cited by Washington Post, the many has worked for a company called Neobit, with registered address in Bucharest. The same Facebook profile indicates the Russian has worked for Microsoft, fact verified by company spokesman Lou Gellos. The 23-year-old Aleksei Karetinkov has been arrested and deported from the US on suspicion of ties to the 11 spies arrested last month and surrendered to Russia.
