Ex-PDL councillor awarded EUR 11 M contract

All Plan Construction, company in which a former PDL county councillor is a shareholder, in association with Alpine Bau Gmbh of Austria, has won the tendering procedure for the award of the Ploiesti Ilie Oana Stadium construction, the stadium having been demolished just few months before, Mediafax reports. The money is allocated from the budget of the Ploiesti Local Council.

Ploiesti Municipality sources are quoted as saying that All Plan Construction is co-owned by a former PDL county councillor, Vasile Todosia.

Ploiesti Deputy Mayor Catalin Bozianu says that, according to the tender made by Alpine Bau and All Plan, the stadium design term is ‘one day’ and the construction works are supposed to last six months. Bozianu in addition noted that, when the tenders had been opened, Alpine Bau was ranked second by price, but the contract award board considered the bid made by Baupartner from Ploiesti, ranked first, was ‘unacceptable’ from the point of view of two different laws in force.
