Tight admission competition at Police Academy

Over 5,700 candidates will start sitting admission examinations to the Police, Fire Fighters and Archives Faculties of the ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ Police Academy in Bucharest next week, competing for the 754 places available this year. Candidates from all over the country had their physical capabilities and state of health checked at the Police Academy yesterday. A total of 5,101 candidates have applied for a place with the Police Academy, broken down as follows: 315 – Border Police, 206 Prisons, 680 Gendarmes and 3,507 Police.
