Oratorium Project Choir and Orchestra on tour this weekend

The Oradea Jubilate Foundation’s Oratorium Project Choir and Orchestra will perform at the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Hall, on Sunday, July 25, at 7 pm. The ensemble will be led by conductors Delta David Gier and Kenneth Tucker. The Jubilate Foundations organized, for the second time, in Cluj, starting July 18, a grand-scale cultural event, as part of the Oratorium project. At the end of mastery class for choir and orchestra, in which approximately 60 Romanian and foreign artists prepared works of composer Johann Sebastian Bach, the Jubilate Foundation will organize three concerts: in Cluj-Napoca (July 23), Timisoara (July 24) and Bucharest (July 25). The programme of the second edition of the Oratorium project, which will allow the public to get acquainted with the spirit and peculiar stylistic traits of Bach’s music, features: Suite no. 3 for orchestra; the Motets “Fürchte dich nicht” and “Komm, Jesu, komm”, and the Magnificat in D major by Johann Sebastian Bach. Soloists: the soprano Georgeta Stoleriu, the mezzo-soprano Gabriela Hazarian, the tenor Ruben Muresan and the bass Ion Dimieru. Tickets are available through Eventim in Germanos and Vodafone shops, Carturesti and Humanitas bookshops and online, on www.eventim.ro and, on the night of the concert, at the Radio Broadcasting Hall box-office, in 60-64, General Berthelot, District 1, phone no. 021-314.68.00.
