Writer at 7

A seven-year-old from Iasi launched, on Friday, a short-stories volume, titled “Povestile mele de pe vremea cand nu stiam sa scriu” [My stories since before I knew how to write], which comprises the one hundred tales he has told up to this age. The one hundred stories made up by the boy were recorded by the father and, then, written down. Participants in the launch included the writers Liviu Antonesei and Nicoleta Dabija, as well as psychologist Bogdan Neculau. “Dragos is the living proof that, in one way or another, all children are prodigies. There is an infinite potential in a normal child, the problem is how we exploit that potential. Dragos is one of the lucky ones, as he had someone to bring this potential to light,” Liviu Antonesei stated. The child said he wanted to be an architect, adding, however, that he had in mind other stories which would be collected in another book.
