As of August 1st, former premier Calin Popescu-Tariceanu has become one of the Ford dealers on the local market. In 2007, while Romania’s premier, he took part in negotiations with the US carmaker towards its purchasing 72.4 per cent of the stock the Romanian state held in the Craiova auto plant, according to daily newspaper ‘Adevarul’.
