Fourteen Romanian ceramic artists are displaying their works in an exhibition on Romanian contemporary ceramic art in Paris. The exhibition is hosted by the Romanian Cultural Institute in France and runs until September 21, according to HotNews. The collective exhibition is part of a series of events focusing on Romanian ceramic art during the 44th General Assembly of the International Ceramics Academy in Paris this month. A special conference that will bring Romanian pottery art in the spotlight will be held within the General Assembly meeting, on September 17. A researcher with the Romanian History Museum, Romus Andreescu, will hold a lecture about Neolithic pottery on Romanian territory, while ceramic artists Romana Mateias and Monika Paduret will outline the main tendencies of contemporary Romanian ceramic art.
