Anathema returns to Romania in November

After the concert they gave this summer in the Sonisphere festival, the British band Anathema will return to the Capital on Friday, November 19, at the Roman Arena, Eventim informs. Anathema performed in Romania on several occasions, in Timisoara (2004), Sibiu (twice in 2007), Bucharest (1994, 2008, 2010). Anathema was founded in Liverpool in 1990. Their music cannot be limited to one genre, as the band approached various genres, from doom metal to atmospheric rock with alternative music influences. Serenades, a doom/ death album released in 2003, was followed by The Silent Enigma, exploring a gothic metal sound, after which Eternity introduced progressive and alternative rock elements. The band’s latest album, We’re Here Because We’re Here, was launched in May.
