National football team’s head coach Razvan Lucescu stated during a show on B1TV that he will resign if he fails to qualify for the EURO 2012 final tournament. “This is the goal I have set along with Ionut Lupescu,” Lucescu Jr. stated while at the same time accusing once again the bad atmosphere “artificially” created around the national football team by the press, the club presidents and other people involved in the system.
“We don’t want to accept reality, and the reality is that we no longer have the football we once had. I’ll leave if we don’t qualify. We have no excuses for the results. We should have won against Albania then we should have registered a draw or even a win in Belarus.”
