Football: Serbia to be coached by FC Timisoara’s former head coach

The Serbian Football Federation (FSS) has confirmed that Vladimir Petrovic, former FC Timisoara head coach, will replace Radomir Antic as the head coach of the national football team, Agerpres informs. “We unanimously took the decision to end the contract with Antic. We gave him another chance after the World Cup fiasco but we’ve reached a difficult situation and basically we had no other option,” FSS President Tomislav Karadzic stated. He added that Vladimir Petrociv’s goal is to qualify for the EURO 2012 final tournament.
