Marko does not rule out leaving Gov’t

UDMR will leave the government in case an incorrect solution to a major problem is adopted and the measures taken by the ruling coalition or by the government do not coincide with the direction sought by the party, UDMR leader Marko Bela stated yesterday during a press conference, being quoted by Mediafax.

Marko underlined that the situation that would call for such a decision has not appeared for the time being and leaving the government is out of the question. “Such a situation hasn’t appeared until now and that is why I’m saying that the issue of leaving the government hasn’t been raised although that is somewhat desired considering that I’m asked about this on a weekly basis,” the UDMR leader pointed out.

Marko declined to answer when asked what would be the incorrect solution UDMR would disagree with and that would cause it to leave the government. “I’m not usually making such threats,” the UDMR leader said.
