Romanian exports’ annual growth, second largest in the EU in H1

Romania is second in the EU when it comes to the annual growth of exports in H1 (26 per cent to EUR 17.2 bln) and fourth when it comes to the annual growth of imports (20 per cent to EUR 21.9 bln), Eurostat informs. Malta’s exports reported the largest growth in H1 (31 per cent). Bulgaria’s exports reported a similar evolution to Romania’s; however its imports grew by 6 per cent. Romania and Bulgaria are followed by Lithuania (24 per cent) and Poland (23 per cent).
