Less than ten pc of the Romanians still trust the Boc Government, a study made by the Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy (IRES) indicates. The head of IRES, the sociologist Vasile Dancu, stated, for Realitatea TV, that the Romanians’ trust in the Executive reached its lowest level, in the entire political history of post-1989 Romania. “This government reshuffle has failed to alter the parties’ ratings either among the ruling or opposition parties, or the level of the trust in the Government, which remained at 9 per cent. This is an unprecedented level in the past 20 years’ political history of Romania, since we started measuring this on a regular basis,” Dancu said.
