US aircraft manufacturer Boeing and the public conglomerate Russian Technologies on Friday signed a contract worth USD 3.7 bln, for the purchase of 50 Boeing 737 Next Generation airplanes, Agerpres reports. The planes will go to Russian airline Aeroflot, which earlier this year struck a partnership with Russian Technologies. Additionally, the Russian Technologies conglomerate, which manages the stakes held by the Russian government in several regional air carriers, announced that the agreement also includes an option for another 35 units of the new Boeing 737 Next Generation.
