Table tennis: Romania wins another medal at EC

Romania’s doubles team (Daniela Dodean/Elisabeta Samara), the European title holder, won the Bronze medal after losing to Netherlands’s Lie Jie/Elena Timina in the semifinals of the European Table Tennis Championships, score 3-4 (11-5, 12-14, 11-9, 9-11, 5-11, 11-9 and 9-11). This was the second medal that Romania’s delegation won in Ostrava after the Silver medal won in the national teams’ event where Romania lost to Netherlands in the final.
