Women’s Boxing: Steluta Duta wins Silver at WC

Romania’s Steluta Duta (48-kilogram category) has won the Silver medal at the Women’s World Boxing Championships in Bridgetown, Barbados, after losing the final against India’s Mary Kom, score 6-16. Romania’s delegation consisted of six boxers but Steluta was the only one to win a medal. Adriana Hosu (+81-kilogram category) and Luminita Turcin (81-kilogram category) were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
