Adrian Ungur eliminated at BCR Open

Romanian tennis player Adrian Ungur has failed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the BCR Open Romania tournament after losing to Germany’s Bjorn Pau yesterday, score 2-6, 4-6. Argentina’s Juan Ignacio Chela defeated Germany’s Simon Greul (6-1, 6-0) and will next play against Germany’s Bjorn Pau. Jeremy Chardy has also qualified for the quarterfinals after defeating Italy’s Simone Vagnozzi, score 6-2, 6-4. Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas has also extended his stay in Bucharest after categorically defeating Spain’s Pere Riba, score 6-1, 6-1. In the quarterfinals Cuevas will play against Argentina’s Carlos Berlocq. The BCR Open tournament is taking place at the BCR Arenas in Bucharest and has total prizes amounting to EUR 368,450.
