EC gives nod to expropriation law

Officials in Brussels have agreed to the amendments brought to the expropriation law and the drafting of cost standards in the transports sector, Transport Minister Anca Boagiu said in a press release yesterday. “Even if the absorption rate for the Transports Programme still means a black ball, today, we have also received white balls from the European officials over the amendments to the expropriation law and the drawing up of cost standards, measures that I have taken over the past two weeks since I began my tenure,’ Agerpres quoted Boagiu as saying. The Ministry of Transport will send, at the soonest, to the EC the draft projects part of the implementation timetable, along with the corresponding multi-annual financial schedule.
