Robbery at Czech Ambassador’s residence

The Czech Ambassador’s residence, which is placed on Otetari Street, in the very centre of Bucharest, was robbed, on Monday, “Evenimentul Zilei” reports. Sources in the police argue that the robbery – in which the thieves took off with two laptops and four cell phones – was, supposedly, committed between 14:00 and 18:00, while the ambassador Petr Dokladal was away from home, with his family. The gendarmes who were on patrol yesterday stated, though, that they hadn’t noticed anything suspicious,” the quoted sources explained. According to the latter, the case was taken over by law-enforcers of the District 6 Police, who are now trying to track the thieves. If caught, the thieves risk the maximum, 15 years in prison.
