In its position of official importer, Orange launched the new iPhone 4 to Romania at a price much higher than in developed states, but lower than in online shops, reads the ‘Evenimentul Zilei’ daily. While the mobile telephony operator sells the most expensive version of the device (with 32 GB of memory) at EUR 823, online shops have it on display at a price tag between EUR 1,100 and 1,250. The early hours of the morning when Orange put the iPhone 4 on sale found clients already queuing up for the Apple gadget. Many had reserved the 32 GB version online, so many fans who came to the Orange Concept Store to buy this version of the phone found it out of stock. Only 6 such phones were still available for sale in the store, that morning. The majority of those who queued for an iPhone 4 on Friday at the Orange store were aged between 20 and 30.
