Between October 22 and 28, 2010, the Romanian Cultural Institute organizes, in partnership with the National Firm Archive, the Filmmaker’s Guild and MOSFILM Studios, the first edition of the Russian Film Festival, which will be hosted by the Studio Cinema and the Eforie Cinematheque. The Studio Cinema will host, on the festival’s opening night, in October 22, starting 7 pm, a screening of “Angel’s Aisle”, directed by Nikolay Dreyden, in the director’s presence. The festival’s programme will feature over 20 films, with Romanian subtitles. An exhibition of drawings signed by Sergei Eisenstein will be running at the Union Cinematheque. The drawings come from the collection of the Russian Film Museum in Moscow.
