Basescu, invited to attend EU-Africa summit, in Tripoli

The state secretary for world affairs in the Foreign Ministry, Doru Costea, met, on Friday, Ahmad Jarrud, the general director for European affairs in the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who handed the Romanian official the invitation addressed to the president Traian Basescu to attend the third EU-Africa Summit in Tripoli, scheduled to take place between November 29 and 30, Agerpres informs. The talks between Costea and the Libyan official addressed aspects of bilateral affairs, with a focus on the economic dimension, as well as international affairs of interest for both countries.
