Moldavian Consulate, inaugurated in Iasi

The Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Teodor Baconschi, and his Moldavian counterpart, Iurie Leanca, cut, on Friday, the inaugural ribbon of the Republic of Moldova’s Consulate in Iasi. “(…) I wish to believe that the Consulate in Iasi, as well as those in Cahul and Balti, will open the way to new opportunities,” Leanca stated, quoted by Agerpres. In his turn, Teodor Baconschi stated that, in the context of the reaffirmed ties between Romania and R. of Moldova, pragmatism will not remain an empty phrase. The Iasi Consulate will be led by the diplomat Cezara Ghetu. The address of the Consulate is 6, Gavriil Muzicescu St., near the National College.
