The Bucharest Court’s Prosecutor’s Office presented, yesterday, the conclusions of the necropsy conducted by the Ilfov Forensics Department (INML), in the case of Madalina Manole’s death. According to the report of the Forensics Department, the death was violent and was caused by an acute cardiopulmonary failure as a consequence of acute Carbofuran poisoning. The intake was oral. The autopsy also found a traumatic wound (left parietal contusion wound), which was caused, most likely, by contact with a rough surface during the dizzy spell which preceded death and is not connected to the cause of death. According to the results of tests, the artist had not taken any drugs. Madalina Manole committed suicide in mid-July by ingesting 400 mg of Furadan pesticide.
